Unidentifiable Trademark-Picture Included

Post by G18Karat »

I have a bracelet that has a trademark that I can not categorize. The trademark is 2 Cs, one within the other, and it is accompanied with a 750 marking and 80.87 marking as well. I'm guessing it is from the 1970's from France or Italy but am not sure. Can anybody assist me with a book I can reference to find out or help me out with the trademark? Thanks.

Hi,

The 750 mark is indeed the mark used in Italy for 18 krt. gold.
The other marks I can't make sense of, the makers mark is usually a set of numbers followed by two letters for the region in which the goldsmith resides.

There is apparantly a book with all the makers marks, but I failed to get my hands on a copy.
From what I understand is it published by the Italian chamber of commerce.
