Help with Mark J.B. Haag

Post by flaubert »

Hi,

here's another maker's mark I could not find any further information about: I've got a pastry fork marked with an eagle and "J.B. Haag" and a soup ladle in the same design marked with eagle and diamond (?). I'd love to know more about the maker(s) of those pieces. Thanks!

Again, the manufacturer is Bruckmann & Sohne of Heilbronn; J. B. Haag was a retailer in Munich.

Forgot to mention here that the pattern here is one of my favorites: model 5401, designed in 1915 by Karl Gross (1869-1934).
