Hi all,
Here is a silver-gilt spoon, that I presume was made around 1760-1810 in Alsace or in Germany, but with mark which I could not identified.
The marks are :
- UBERLT or UBERLL in a rectangle : silversmith
- B in a rectangle : probably for the date
- a lion with the number 13 over : probably town / and fitness
- a swan (French mark marked later)
Unidentified marks on spoon - East of France, Germany ?

Hi,
Possibly Braunschweig but cannot support it. Too many lions rampant.
At least to start with.

Your are right AG, lions rampant are numerous, and it hard to find with this.
Thanks for your suggestion.
Silverfan, do you know some reference books on Heidelberg marks ?
Do you have a pic of Martin Ueberle to have a comparison ?
Thanks.

Thanks Theoderich for this excellent link !
Generally speaking, do you know a link that lists the reference books on German silver marks in 17-19th c., according to the area ?
