unknown 20th century silver mark "three fir trees"

Post by R ingo »

Hello,
usually I am not interested in 20th century silver, but in this case it is a piece from my grandparents. So I would be glad, if some one knows the maker of this spoon.

Kind regards,
Ringo

Hello, this is a mark used by Otto Kaltenbach in the 1930ies. The patterns were marketed in Germany as "Schwarzwald Silber" - black forest silver. The three trees symbolize the firs of the Black Forest. Regards, Bahner
