Silver spoon 750 with eagle unkown mark

Post by Winkelhuber »

Hi everybody,
I have found a silver spoon which seems to be 750 silver.
However, the 1 seems to be upside down.
I have searched for the mark but could not find anything.
Thanks for any comments that could help.

You need to embed your images.

The below should help you:

Embedded images get a far greater response than just posting links or thumbnails.

Thanks for the help. This was my first post and I am used to use attachments in other forums.
Could you please post a link, so I can compare?
What do you think about the maker mark?

Thanks for the answer.
I have looked at the Punzen but I still do not see enough similarity with the eagle.
The 1 in the declaration of silver content seems to be upside down too.

I think that`s the eagle with sceptre (Das Zepter). Number ``1`` is not upside down, there is corrosion or patina at the base of the number. It`s !2 Loth, no doubt about it.
Marks are not always perfect.
That`s what I think.
