Need help with makers mark German?

Post by E.gunn67 »

I found this creamer and sugar with tray yesterday. I have had no luck with makers mark. I thought it may be German. Marked 800 with a W inside a circle. After looking at Hanau marks under letter W, I noticed the last name on list was Oswald Worg but where picture was suppose to be it says examples needed. I then thought that maybe my mark is a letter O with a W inside of it for Oswald Worg. I might just be grasping for straws but it is such a fine set and I am frustrated at not finding this mark anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am not sure how to post pictures on here either.
