Pease check my another post, how come this mark appeared together with Mauser?

I don't know exactly what connection these two companies had, but on the surface it looks like Mauser retailed Towle's wares which was not a unique arrangement.

It seemed that Mauser had a retail department. Mauser had to sell all before it closed at the year of 1912.
