Prague tobacco box, 1837, maker ``AD``

Post by AG2012 »

Hi,
This tobacco box has been discussed in regard of symbols.
Left side: chained Pegasus liberated, lyre, grape barrel?
Right: thermometer, plane (tool), wand? Laurel wreath, crown thrown to the snakes
Who is in the middle with laurel wreath?
Having seen the reference in Czech language quoted here a few days ago, I hope the maker ``AD`` can be identified. Again, any idea about the symbols? Rather intriguing under the circumstances of pre - revolutionary years in Habsburg Empire.

Thank you
