A cow

Post by amena »

Hello
I found this cow creamer that I find a bit naive, but pretty.
It is an object that is not part of the Italian tradition and I suppose it is from northern Europe,
It is punched on the tail and the marks are partial and worn out, but perhaps some magician can guess the origin and the era.

Hi Amena,

If you google silver cow creamer, you will see many of those have (Dutch) pseudo marks.

Hi Peter
You mean that these are Dutch pseudo marks?

Not real clear, could be German as well but I believe it to be pseudo marks.

Peter.

I found a cow creamer from Hanau on the Internet.
The head looks a little different, but the body seems to come out of the same mold
