KRAKÓW

Post by madej »

Hello.
I think that this is certainly a L. Nitsh hallmark, the Krakow city hallmark is not clear, a little strange. What do you think?

Dear Madej!
Although I don't know, why you didn't find it in the antecedent of Krakow, but thank you for your post, because verified one of my previews assumable solution.
The maker is Leonard Nitsch in Krakow, as I suspected before.

Hi Krisztian
I have not seen your post before but it's good that you show it to me now. As I wrote, I am sure that this is L Nitsch, but I was more concerned with the hallmark of Krakow, that it is a bit strange

As long as you are all giving out maker names, can you please include known dates for the record here (to help keep this as a free access research forum). Thank you.

Another thread (unrelated item) with a page of "Krakau" marks in the 1840's-50's era: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=45552&p=133143&hili ... rk#p133143
