Possible gold mark on a watch?
Re: Possible gold mark on a watch?
Not very clear in the photo, but looks like the Swiss Helvetia mark for 18k (750) in use from 1933.

Re: Possible gold mark on a watch?
Thank you so much. It is a Helvetia head and Ill test it for 18k to be sure.
Re: Possible gold mark on a watch?
Hi,
If that is a 'C' below the head, then that would indicate the Chaux-de-Fonds assay office.

Re: Possible gold mark on a watch?
Thank you for the extra tip. Ill search for "La Chaux-de-Fonds" and any relation to Mulco. The thing is, Mulco is not really old company and it is very hard to get examples from internet about old watches of this trademark, even harder to find a gold Mulco watch. In my country, most people believe that, if its not marked "18k" is not gold. I bought this watch for nothing. I like it just because it was mulco and it was working, when I used the magnifying glass, I saw the metal really "noble" and started to look for marks...
If you guys werent here helping, I surely wouldnt even know if it was a real Mulco.
Thanks again.
