Six Coin Silver Spoons-D.C. Dusenberry

Post by silvercrown »

I have six of these old, coin silver spoons. They are marked "D.C. Dusenberry". The figural marks are a bird, arm & hammer and head. Can anyone tell me anything about this maker? Thanks!

Hello Silvercrown.

Daniel C. Dusenberry was a retailer in Middletown, New York (c.1845 - 1895).

There may have been more than one silversmith using those pseudo marks.
So, it's difficult to say who made the spoons.

Pat.
