I picked up an old spoon, it has a makers mark of HS or SH with a round symbol next maker's mark.
The spoon also has an inscription - Mariam Rimember From Your Grandfather Henry Leligman 1776.
Note: not a typo on the word "Rimember".
The bowl shows quite a bit of tip wear on the left side (from use), It was well used. It is a serving spoon size 8 and quarter or so inches long.
Any help with the maker would be appreciated. I have done a lot of research but have not come up with the maker.
Thank you,
Dave

To see it flipped over so it's SH. Here is another photo.

It's probably not much help, but I think the family name on the spoon could be Seligman, and the spoon is not American made.

Hi Dave,
Is it possible to get a better closeup of the marks? Try laying the spoon down on a textured surface such as a linen napkin. Place your camera on the macro setting without flash. Indirect day light through drape will defuse the glaring effect. Then just keep shooting until you get the right shot.
Hope this helps
