William Kendrick retailed serving spoon - can't identify other marks

Post by 1967Pinecone »

Hi. I'm assuming that William Kendrick retailed this spoon, but there are three other marks that I can't identify. One might be an eagle, another appears to be a circle in a square, and I don't have the slightest idea what the third one is. Thanks!

Another site's entry on lineage (1880-on) of retailers/jewelers William Kendrick's Sons Louisville Kentucky: https://www.sterlingflatwarefashions.com/Ret/RetK1.html

Looking down a few entries from there are some marks (3) with a right facing eagle which might suggest era or areal origins..not much to work with. Maybe backtracking the father's history and what he might have sold at his location?

More on Mr. Kendrick: https://kentuckyonlinearts.wordpress.co ... ky-silver/

Also appears the firm handled some Philadelphia made wares.
