Patent 1855 COIN Marked Fish Fork 9"

Post by hpidaves »

This one has no maker's mark that I can see. It measures 9" in length and I think it's either a large Fish Serving Fork or Asparagus Fork. The only markings read "PATENT 1855 COIN" on the reverse.

Thanks!

Thank you. From that, I have found the pattern -- Josephine.

Any idea on piece type? It seems like it could be an asparagus or fish server.

Thanks.
