Columbian Mark

Post by Woodsk »

I have a few pieces with this mark, but have not found any info as of yet.

They would have come from Columbia between the 1910's through the 1930's

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Woodsk,

Welcome to the Forum.

There appears to have been very little research done to identify 20th century Columbian, indeed, any 20th century South American silversmith's marks. All I can say is your mark is struck in a similar format to the other maker's marks that are known to be from Columbia.

I'll soon start a topic in the 'Contributors Notes' section of the forum to see if we can gather some information together on this neglected subject.

Do your other items bear exactly the same mark? Can you provide a clearer image of them?
