Need Help Identifying Hallmark - Zuni?

Post by CristinaW »

Hi,
I have a pendant that I think might be Zuni, but I don't know for sure...is anyone familiar with this mark? I'd love to know the artist.
It looks like either an R with a line over it, with two feathers on the right side; or possibly a TR or TK with two feathers on the right side.

So hard to tell! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for looking!

Found it - It was made by Tracey Knifewing, Navajo for anyone else who was wondering.

That's actually somewhat incorrect. There is no one named Tracey Knifewing. Ray Tracey and Knifewing Segura used to collaborate on pieces and used that mark, although I am not sure if I have ever seen one of their dual pieces. Ray Tracey does work like this, and has for a while, and still uses the same mark by himself.

ValkyrieVixen YOU are actually incorrect. There is a Tracey Knifewing and that would be the correct hallmarks. She is contemporary and collaborates with QVC just like Roderick Tenario. If you Google her you will find many pieces. I have had one or two older pieces myself. Quite popular!
