Gorham knife with Rodgers & Sons blade

Post by bettencourt »

Hello,

I would like some help with this item, I have a few Gorham knifes with Rodgers & Sons blades. I know the blades were made in England and imported to the US, but, on the handles I can't identify the pattern, nor the marks as being silver/silverplatted, it's age or history.
(admin edit - see Posting Requirements )

I have been posting in various forums with no luck so far,
I hope anyone can help me
Thanks,
Bettencourt

Photos still extant. Gorham Anchor over manufacturing company letters over 06 over "M". This is a silverplate mark. There is no Lion mark. "M" should be for Medium referring to weight system in use.
