The Bristol Brass Company and the American Silver Company, both of Bristol, Conn., and, in the past, conducted as practically one plant and under the management of the same officers, have now been divided and will, hereafter, be conducted separately. A change has been contemplated for some time, and at a recent meeting of the directors, it was decided to divide the company into distinct corporations. Albert F. Rockwell, of the New Departure Company of that city was elected president of both companies. Pierce N. Welch was made vice-president of the Bristol Brass Company, and J. R. Holley, secretary and treasurer. Dean Welch was elected vice-president of the American Silver Company; Samuel B. Harper, secretary and assistant treasurer; and Alexander Harper, general-manager of the same company. The Bristol Brass Company is one of the oldest brass rolling mills in the United States. The American Silver Co., manufacture silver plated wares.

The midway was in full swing, and there were exercises and many features. Mr. and Mrs. Rockwell were escorted to the park, which they gave the city, by the Boy Scouts. Among the speakers who paid tribute to Mr. and Mrs. Rockwell were Mayor Dutton, Park Commissioner Muzzy and Councilman Cray.
