Established in 1858.
H.F. Winkelmann displayed their wares at the Melbourne International Exhibition of 1880. A report read as follows:
There is a fine stand of electroplate ware shown by H. F. Winkelmann, of Berlin. The articles are useful and of extremely elegant design. The beer-seidels have now patent tops. When the knob at the top of the handle of the vessel is pressed by the thumb to open it, the lid, instead of rising up, moves off to the right, leaving the mouth of the seidel wholly uncovered. The fruit dishes and epergnes are exceedingly handsome, the ice buckets are beautifully chased, and the tea and coffee sets are of light and pleasing design.
