DANISH DATE MARKS PROJECT
It would be good if we could amass good examples of the Danish date marks.
As I understand it, the 'Three Towers' was introduced in 1608 for silver assayed at Copenhagen, and for the rest of the country since 1870. Its use was continued until around 1977.
There were slight differences made to the marks every year and it would be interesting to see these variations. Hopefully, in the fullness of time, we can put together something close to the full set of at least those from the late 19th and 20th centuries. If this target can be achieved, then hopefully one day it will become part of the Encyclopedia.
So if you have some good images of such marks to share, then here's the place to post them. It does not matter if a particular year has already been posted as the more examples we have, then the better the finished project will be.
