Messrs. Mappin & Webb, Royal Works, Sheffield, make a very extensive display of their manufactures in the very best plate and cutlery, one of the most conspicuous objects in their case being a lottery prize, value 5000 francs. This is the first time this Sheffield firm has exhibited for forty years.

ESSEX COUNTY FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION SENIOR CHALLENGE CUP
THE trophy modelled for the Essex County Football Association consists of a handsomely chased cup with cover surmounted by a figure of a footballer, and an Association football resting upon each handle. The arms of Essex appear chased in relief above the inscription, which reads : "Essex County Football Association Senior Challenge Cup, presented by Mr. Robert Cook, to mark the coming of age of the association, September 30, 1903." The names of the victorious teams in this competition for the past twenty-one years are engraved upon the sides of the cup, which has been modelled by Messrs. Mappin and Webb, Limited, of Queen Victoria. Street, Regent Street, and Oxford Street, from their design, which was selected from over forty submitted in open competition.
