Hi all -
found this formal unusual Russian napkin ring. The marks are unclear. Maker, assayer, town?
Any help welcome!

Unusual napkin ring
Re: Unusual napkin ring
Hi,
Assayer initials look like AK.
Dressing table set assayed 1853, on sale in Russia:
``A.H. unknown maker mid XIX century, Assayer AK (Andrei Kovalski) , St George``.

Re: Unusual napkin ring
Hi -
many thanks. But it really seems to be a napkin ring - first I thought someone had removed the bottomplate and "created" something. But no traces at all. Very strange never before seen form for a napkin ring!

Re: Unusual napkin ring
Hi,
Yes, it`s napkin ring, unusually long but luxurious (I mentioned what was on sale in Russia - dressing set - not referring to the ring).
