Hi,
It`s total FAKE, as can be seen both in marks and enamel and glass cabochons.
In a word, do not buy worthless fake made in China the day before yesterday.

There is no point in discussing fakes, there are too many flaws, but have to comment the caricature of ``Faberge`` lettering.
Chinese have no idea of Cyrillic alphabet and rely on visual reproduction.
Letter Ж may be the first letter in Russian word for frog (Жаба) but it does not mean it should really look like a deformed frog.

There is no doubt about this fake.
China is the most likely culprit.
The conclusion is based on identical egg offered by an Australian seller who offers many Chinese faked artifacts (Ming dynasty etc.).
Please, forget the egg.

See here:

we are really benevolent here and trying to save people who spend money on worthless fakes.
Again, marks are totally wrong and enamel cannot be Faberge (not even close to it).

Hi emilgaigns -

congratulations that you asked before you bought it! It seems that you are not the average enthusiastic fake seller who wants to convince the forum of his fantastic find.
