Norway(?) Spoon Mark Identification

Post by silverly »

This attractive blue and white enameled spoon with St Louis engraved inside the bowl has a mark that I have so far been unable to identify. Any help will be very much appreciated.

I have found an example of this mark that is attributed to David Andersen. A confirmation would be appreciated.

Hi Silverly,

It looks good to me. See: http://www.925-1000.com/david-andersen_marks.html

Possibly from the 1904 Expostion?:

Thanks Trev. I wasn't looking at the trademark right side up. The illustration you've posted is perfect for understanding the correct view. The 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in Saint Louis, Missouri does seem very likely.
