Denmark Maker C.P.

Post by silverfan »

On the back of these 2 Items I read Johannes Siggard as assay master, Haandsmedet, C.P. for the maker and the 3-tower-mark with 1930 or 1939. Siggard was assay master from 1932- 1960, so it must be 1939. Who is C.P. and what is the use of these two flatware pieces with lobster handle? Are they fish servers, salade servers or cake servers? I hope our Danish members can clear it up.

Conrad Petersen in Copenhagen 1937-1948. Take a look look here: http://www.925-1000.com/denmarkC.html and scroll down to C.P.

Thanks Qrt.S. When comparing the items with pieces in a Jensen catalogue, I think it is a fish serving set.
