Makers mark on cup

Ok

Got LONDON , Sterling , and 1935
NOT got the identity of CharliedotEasy

Any ideas welcomed

The mark appears to be that of Charles Engelhard, his mark registered in London 1882 matches down to the same exaggerated serifs on the E. It is a bit of a stretch to think that he or his workshop might have made this 53 years later, but not completely impossible.

Hi there. Could you please display or send me a pic of the full mark as there seems to be one stamp missing from the close up. This could make a big difference to the dating of the piece.

Yup, and that "smudge" seems to be in keeping with the general shape of it.
