Another spoon with no date letter, possibly Thomas Wallis

Post by Granmaa »

Here is a very small teaspoon (11cm) with an upturned handle and an extended drop. However, the maker (TW) decided not to put a date letter on. I'd like to find out the maker and date; my guess is Thomas Wallis 1775-1780.

Looks like the early mark of Thomas Wallis which he used in the last quarter of the 18th century. Later, he used a more scripted mark.
