Silver jug with worn makers mark I can't trace

Post by GrandmasterTrash »

A nice silver jug with corked lid and spout i believe it's London 1929 but cannot trace makers mark. it is worn on right side but what I can read is G B (something) over ltd all in a shield. photo of hallmark not to clear as using phone so have drawn it out on paper (second image). Also sorry if I haven't loaded pics right you might have to copy and paste into browser. I look forward to reply and any advice
Cheers

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

The mark is thought to be GBG above Ltd., but the identity of who registered that mark is unknown to me.

You are far more likely to get responses if you embed your images as very few people will click on thumbnails or links.
