Hello everyone
I found this object that looks like a stopper with a very tiny gilded spoon.


I think that hallmarks are London 1837, although there is no leopard head.
I did not find the silversmith, but the thing that I'd like to know is what it was for a so tiny spoon?

Hi Amena,

The maker was Charles Fox. This appears to be an exact match for the mark he registered on the 9th May 1838, and as the new date letter, 'C', was struck as from the 30th May 1838, then we can be precise about the date of assay as being within that 21-day period.
