I have a lovely pair of silver and enamel cuff links that I believe are from Birmingham, 1907. There is a makers initials of "AST" in an hourglass shaped rectangle.
Hallmarks: AST, 925, anchor, lion, h
See overall image and hallmarks (hard to get a good pic). I also included an image on the stud side of the cuff links in case that is helpful, seems like a family crest of some kind.
