Help identifying makers mark

Post by halojd »

I picked this miniature at an estate sale. I love it! I identified everything but the makers mark. I would appreciate any help and information you can provide

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

You are far more likely to get responses if you embed your images as very few people will click on thumbnails or links.

Thank you Ole. I have been looking for a similar item but cannot find it. Is there a catalog of images for B. W van Eldik & A.F. van der SchHollandia Zilversmeden? Do you have any idea of what it is? It fits in the palm of my small hand

Ole Ole your welcome, I never seen a catalog of items sold by Hollandia Zilversmeden but that does not mean one does not excist.
It is a small tray perhaps to hold a deck of playing cards, the portrait of the men could give you a clou.
You also could use it for sweets & peanuts.

Best,

Oel.
