I have been unable to locate the origin of these marks on this small cup. Can someone help? Thanks!
.
Can anyone ID these marks?
Hi cshill,
Those are indeed Dutch marks, but pseudo marks.
It will probably been made at the end of the 19th century.
The 3 Andreas crosses with crown is to fake the town mark of Amsterdam.
The lion with crown is to fake the 934/000 mark for silver (poorly done because it should face the other direction).
The "leafe" or "flower" is an imaginary makers mark (from a Schoonhoven maker) and is documented under number 417 of "Valse Zilvermerken in Nederland" by Citroen.
The letter (I think it's a K) resembles a dateletter from Rotterdam.
