Hello Miles
JACOB NATHAN

Further to the previous correspondence In case you haven't seen it there's an entry on page 367 of Grimwade's London book noting that Jacob Nathan entered a mark (letters IN in rectangle) in 1813 at Goldsmiths Hall as a gold worker from Stonehouse, near Plymouth.

Regards,
Mike

Hello Miles,
Edward Byne 1802-16
A great set of marks for your research
Unusual pointed bowls, perhaps not that popular a shape as he only seems to have made 9 pairs
according to the Exeter assay office records. Bob

That's a great pair of tongs Bob, and a very rare example, thanks for sharing them with us.

Thank you, Bob. I've never come across an example of Byne's mark before.
