John Clemenson spoon?

They keep on coming these less common makers......would this be correct to attribute this feather edge with shoulders teaspoon to John Clemenson the smallworker? It’s very well made and in fantastic condition.

Hi Matt,

I think you posted his brother's spoon a few days ago? I would say this is James Crawford of Newcastle.

Ah...funny you should say that because the similarities of how the spoon is made are almost like the it’s same maker. Even the size and bowl are identical. The finishing off of the rounded strap in the back again same technique when you study it. If I was given these two spoons I would have said they were made by the same maker even though they are different styles.

Bit of a surprise really!
