Info required on provincial ladle

Post by techsol »

Hi,

I would appreciate any help in identifying the maker and origin of this ladle. I am fairly sure it is Scottish provincial and I also have a feeling I have seen these marks before, but can't for the life of me remember where. Anybody got any ideas?

Martin.

Thanks Trev, what threw me was the lack of duty mark and date letter.

Cheers

Hi Martin,

Glasgow did not have an official assay office until 1819.
