Completetly flummoxed by these marks

Post by Binbert »

Firstly may I apologise if this is the wrong area to post this question but it appears to be the closest guess. My internet research into these marks have drawn a complete blank and I have not managed to find any relevant posts on this forum. In amongst a lot recently purchased at auction was this pair of horn beakers with silver rims. The identical marks comprising: makers mark of 'I.J' in a rectangle, a crown in a crown shaped circle, a cross in the form of a crosslet in an oval and what appears to be a fleur de lis in a circle. In a bid to discover whether they are silver marks, faux marks or even pewter marks, I throw myself at the mercy of the forums experts! Many thanks for looking.
