Pseudo marks?

Post by mk209 »

This one has baffled me I'm guessing these are pseudo marks? It's a very light table spoon at 38g but seems to be sterling standard. It has worn engraved initials of I.B

Hoping this one turns out to be interesting as I haven't come across much of interest of late.

Hi Matt,
Hoping this one turns out to be interesting
Yes, it is, but I can't give you an answer. It's an unknown Jersey (Channel Isles) maker.

There is thoughts that his name may be Chevalier.

Thanks Trev that's certainly very interesting to me if it's Jersey. Provincial spoons are usually out of my budget so this is a great addition to my collection.
