Hi,

I am fairly new to this site but am trying to locate these silver hallmarks, possible of New Zealand origin?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Hi Eddie,

Welcome to the forum!

I saw this piece for sale, looks like you won the bidding!

I would say that is almost definitely a kiwi, so would point to NZ origin, but apart from that I've had no luck tracing it.

Walker and Hall did use a kiwi, but it doesn't look like this one. I would say it would date it to the middle of the twentieth century, none of the earlier silversmiths appear to have used the kiwi. (Although Frank Grady did use an anchor).

I've got it save in my unknown marks to be researched, so will let you know if anything turns up!
