Going through my Gramma's silver, I found this one miscellaneous serving spoon...it appears to be from Edinburgh, but I can't find anything resembling the maker's mark anywhere!

Any insights?
Thanks!

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Great item and much more interesting than Edinburgh, your spoon was made by George Elder of Banff.

Thank you! I have no idea how my family ended up with such an fascinating spoon.
That is exactly what it is...thanks to your info, I've found identical ones elsewhere
