I am hoping someone might recognize the psuedo marks on this tea set: crown, uncrowned leopard, and lion passant but no maker's initials. It appears to be Victorian era British colonial although the construction is a little unusual, covered cream and sugar suggest a warm climate but the marks are a mystery to me.

That's a great looking set. I can't attribute the marks, but I would not be surprised if this was North American made, perhaps with the addition of those marks for the market it was aimed for, maybe Canada?

To me, the covers on the creamer and sugar just bring the whole set in line with each other and add to their quality, rather than suggest it was made for hot climate use.

Hopefully other members will add their thoughts.
