Need help with this spoon

Post by juantotree »

Hi,

I have aquired this celtic point teaspoon that I am struggling to identify. Because of the celtic point design I was thinking possibly Scottish provincial, however I can't decipher the marks, does anybody have any ideas?

Many Thanks
Martin

Hi Martin,

James Douglas of Dundee, thought to have been working 1796 until 1820.
