W.G mark three times

Post by agsearcher »

Hello Forum. Any thoughts would be welcome on the maker's mark, W.G
Hanoverian double drop if I'm correct.
I checked the Incorporation of Goldsmiths website, but am not sure about a match there.
Approx. 8 inches and 50 grams. Thank you.

No luck yet, checked English Colonial and English Provincial, no luck yet, I did find a "George Walker" listed as a Provincial Scotland Silversmith working until 1722, but the initials are reversed and the form seems more like 1740-1760, so I have not found anything yet, but I keep trying, I really do enjoy these "Triple Stamp" spoons, mysterious are they, I would enjoy an entire series of posts dedicated to the mystery of the triple stamp spoons :::
