I believe that he was born in about 1746 and died in 1829.

Grimwade records that William son of William Fearn Farmer Sedbury in the County of Derby was apprenticed to Thomas Chawner 6 October 1762.
5 November 1828 John George Fearn born in the Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth son of William Fearn made free by patrimony in the Company of Goldsmiths. William's freedom was recorded as 1799.
7 May 1829 William Fearn aged 83 years burial recorded at Saint Matthew Brixton.
14 November 1829 William Fearn of No 5 Alford Place Brixton , Surrey will proved at London. William's son John George Fearn was one of the two Executors of this will.

For me this information is tentative but maybe it is something to work with.
