CUTTING, Christopher (Grimwade p.482)

Post by MCB »

He married Mary Vickers at All Hallows the Great in 1699.
A Christopher Cutting in 1704 and a Mary Cutting in 1708, both late of Church End, were buried at St Leonard, Shoreditch and may have been his son and his wife as his Will dated in January 1725 left his residual estate to his niece Sarah Cutting.
He died in May 1725.
Page 73 of Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World records his being in the Clockmakers Company from 1695 to 1725.

Christopher Cutting's indenture contract shows that he was the son of Christopher Cutting of Lidgate in the County of Suffolk Clerk.
