He was assessed to Land Tax on property in St Mary Staining precinct from 1795-1806 which was presumably Oat Lane, Noble Street from where he entered a mark at Goldsmiths’ Hall in December 1794 as a small worker.
He was assessed to Land Tax on property in George Street from 1807-13 from where he had entered marks in 1807.
Sarah Davenport was assessed on the property in 1814 for one year only and was presumably the widow as she had entered a mark as a small worker from that address in November 1813.
