Before RICHARD FORD Esq.

On Saturday William Freeman was charged with breaking a shew-glass, and stealing from theuse several gold rings, the property of John Stubbs, a silversmith in Holborn.

John Brooks deposed, that passing along Holborn on Friday night, he observed the prisoner take something from Mr. Stubb's shew-glass and run away with it; that he pursued and took him.

The prisoner was committed for re-examination.
