7 April 1813 William son of Charles Rapley late of Horn Alley Aldersgate Street London Jeweller deceased apprenticed to William Dyer of Aldersgate Street aforesaid Jeweller and Goldsmith.

4 November 1820 William Rapley of the Parish of Saint Leonard Foster married Elizabeth Colen of the same Parish at Christ Church City of London.

1841 UK Census William Rapley aged 35 years Jeweller born in Middlesex County listed at Northampton Street Clerkenwell.

1 July 1846 James Charles son of William Rapley Citizen and Goldsmith of London made free in the Company of Goldsmiths by patrimony. The father's freedom was entered on 7 June 1820.

1851 UK Census William Rapley aged 52 year Jeweller born at Saint Pancras Middlesex listed at 33 Northampton Street.

1861 UK Census other than 10 years older same as previous census.

4 March 1864 William Rapley Jeweller late of 33 Northampton Street Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex will proved. Death occurred on 2 February 1864. Original data: Principal Probate Registry.
