Italian Bowl - 800 Silver - Large Firenze

Post by natNYC »

I've tapped out the research i can do on this.
This is a good size silver bowl, 7 inches across and 4 inches tall.
It is silver with a gold wash on the inside.
it weighs nearly nine ounces.
It is marked
Lavorato A Mano (hand made)
Then a symbol that might be a B or GB? I can't sort it out.
The last symbol is a star, 569, FI (I assume for Firenze) and then an oval with "800".
Looks like it's post 1968.

does this design or hallmark look familiar to anyone?

thank you

Hi Nat,

569 FI was registered to Bicchielli & Pasquini of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. It looks like they were working from the 1970's to 1994.

Hi Nat,

I'll be adding the details of Bicchielli & Pasquini to the database tomorrow.
