This one took me a while to find the maker's mark -- it's tiny and located on the edge of the handle instead of the back. It has an inverted "V" with dots around it. Then it has what looks like 0.800. I have included photos -- the last few are taken through the eye piece of a microscope.
It's a beautiful piece measuring 6 3/4" and has a gold wash inside the bowl.
Thanks for the help!

Try comparing to this still good photo of Jezler Switzerland mark: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=48474&p=146166&hil ... er#p146166
Re: Unknown Maker 800 Silver Ladle
And in case it is throwing you, no these are not one of the several Hanau-psuedo marks that appear similar though more crude. The decimal style 0.800 and mark shapes match up to the Swiss maker.
Re: Unknown Maker 800 Silver Ladle
Yes, Jezler, a bit more than 100 years old. They had a habit on marking ladles and sauce spoons and similar items on the side in this period. I do not know why. Regards, Jörg

Thanks so much for the information. I saw the 800 and figured it was German -- never had a Swiss piece before.
